Background: An adequate anchorage is often challenging in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. The ability to control all the aspects of tooth movement is limited. The inadequate mechanical system to control anchorage leads to anchorage loss of the reactive unit. The conventional; Extraoral (headgear) and Intraoral (transpalatal arch) anchorage system is doubtful in providing absolute anchorage.
