Power systems worldwide are complex and challenging environments. Integration of renewable energy sources rises complexity of the energy management problems in the power systems. Multi Agent Systems (MASs) make this opportunity to model and study several issues related to the complex systems. In a smaller scale, a residential energy management system would be effective for the both sides of the network. It can reduce the electricity costs of the demand side, and it can help the power grid to be more robust in peak times.
