Applications of Refractive lndex in Chemical Constitution: Refractive Index and Boiling Point Relation

A now constant, refractive index-boiling point relation, RT, additive and constitutive, given by \(Rr = {M.n {} \over d} \) \(1_n\) \(T_b\) [\(M\) is the molecular weight, \(n\) the refractive index for D-line at 20°, \(d,\) the density (\(d _4^0\)), and Tb, absolute boiling point] has been suggested.
