THE Teaching Value of Concept Maps

This paper, presented at the International Conference on Concept Maps that took place in two phases, one in Tallinn and another in Helsinki, aimed to show the importance of using concept maps in science classes, particularly in Physics. In the first part of this paper we refered the constructive and investigative learning environment created with the use of concept maps.
