Invasive malacofauna associated with marine aquaculture.—Marine aquaculture is an economic activity with an important expansion, which has associated a number of problems such as the introduction of allochthonous species. Particularly in the northern hemisphere, a number of mollusks have been transported by this activity, which may turn themselves into invasive species that cause important ecological alterations and even economical losses in this sector. In this article we provide a review of the main allochthonous mollusk species involved in this activity in European coasts, as well as the recent citations of these species in the main area with this type of installations in Catalan coasts, the Ebro Delta
