Our survey found that sanitary pads are India's most used product, but other options such as menstrual cups and reusable cloth pads should also be considered. Women should also be provided with a supportive environment to discuss their menstrual health and dispel myths and misconceptions. It is also possible to reduce the financial burden of menstruation by introducing initiatives such as free menstrual products and menstrual leave policies.
