Evaluating the Quality of Assessment Tools Several Useful Methods

In some cases, society comes to question of the quality of assessment tools – in graduation examinations, term theses, evaluations based on representative samples of pupils etc. Often the opinion on the quality of tests is subjective, based on the questioning of teachers, pupils and parents. In order to increase the level of objectivity, statistical evaluation methods based on numerical data processing are required. The article shows how certain statistical indicators may be used for this purpose
