Wild gaur or Indian bison (Bos gaurus) is one of the largest mammals among the wild cattle species. They are preferred prey of tiger and its co-predators. The conservation of Wild gaur is quite important for ecological balance in tiger breeding habitat. They consume young leaves, young shoots, bark, and fruits. Their feeding behaviour varies according to the season and landscapes. The present study highlights the food plants of wild gaur and brings attention towards fodder plant management of prey in tiger breeding habitat
