Manuscript received 28 February 1978, revised 25 September 1978, accepted 6 June 1979 The polarographic behaviour of o-benzoyl-benzoic acid has been studied in Mcllvaine (McI) and Britton-Robinson (BR) buffers of different \(p\)H values. The electrode process has been found to be \(p\)H-dependent. At lower \(p\)H values (<5) the reduction takes place reversibly while at higher \(p\)H values (\(\geq\)) it is irreversible. A tentative mechanism of the electrode process has been suggested
