Speciality of food products supply chain management under martial law in Ukraine

Military actions in Ukraine have negative consequences for the world economy, which has already been affected by COVID-19 and had to adapt to such situation. Food, energy, and financial markets are currently the main influence. Established economic ties and supply chains were destroyed, production enterprises and transport companies have to organize their work in accordance with the new situation, look for new ways of building logistics routes. In conditions of war and rising prices for energy and food products, reducing losses and waste in food supply chains remains relevant. The support of small and local enterprises of the food industry takes on a special role. It is important to maintain price stability for freight transportation and logistics services.The question of managing food supply chains in conditions of uncertainty arises. Maximum attention should be paid to the sustainability of food products supply chains. Supply chains must be fully functional, begining from such links as planting, crop protection, livestock breeding, food processing infrastructure, etc. The purpose of the article is to analyze the current state of food products supply chains and the impact of the war in Ukraine on logistics activities, to provide appropriate recommendations for managing of such chains. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is the conceptual provisions of management and the theory of logistics, analytical reports of international organizations and well-known global companies in the field of logistics and transportation.The method of comparative analysis, synthesis and generalization was used to determine the state of food products supply chains. The article examines the impact of military actions in Ukraine, on the world economy, on the food and transport sectors. The world and Ukraine have already felt the impact of COVID-19 on social and economic activity. Currently, military actions in Ukraine have significantly affected the food market and posed new challenges to the formation of food proucts supply chains. For developing countries, the percentage of starving people has increased and this trend may increase. In the world, there was a jump in the prices of wheat and corn, and today also, farmers do not have full access to fertilizers, which may affect to the future harvest. The list of countries that are completely dependent on the export of grain is given. The war in Ukraine provoked disruptions in global logistics and supply chains, the level of delays in the global maritime transport system increased, correspondingly prices for sea transportation increased, the number of delays in ports enlarged. The state of supply chains in Ukraine was analyzed, such main problems were identified as the need to build new routes, focus on a specific supply chain, search for alternative suppliers to avoid shortages and panic among the population. The special importance of ensuring effective management of food products supply chains and their international transportation to prevent panic among the population is emphasized. Among the positives, it should be noted that changes in the legislation aimed to simplifying international automobile transport and rapprochement with the EU were accepted
