Blending is a mixing process where two or more different fibers are combined into the desired percentage. In a yarn spinning system, different compositions, lengths, diameters, or colors may be mixed to create a blended yarn. In this system, various lots of fibers are combined into a homogeneous mass before being spun into a staple fiber yarn.
