The study examined the effect of human resources accounting on the profitability of consumer goods companies in Nigeria. Human resources accounting was measured using employee benefit while profitability was measured using return on equity and net profit margin while age of the company as used as a control variable. Secondary data was sourced from financial statements of ten (10) consumer goods in Nigeria listed on the Nigeria stock exchange. Unit root was conducted and the study observed that the variables have no unit root. Descriptive statistics and trend analysis were conducted respectively.
