The article considers the dynamics of the tourism industry in Cambodia, its impact on the economic development and employment, the main tourist flows, its dynamic and destinations. The article describes the multiplier effect of tourism, its main development problems. The time frame of present study takes the period from 1993, when the Kingdom of Cambodia was restored, some political steadiness was gained and the country opened its frontiers for tourists and up until now
