A Correlational Study of Spiritual Intelligence and Happiness among Adolescence of Ranchi Town

Aim- The main purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between spiritual intelligence and happiness among adolescence of Ranchi town. Method- Samples were selected by stratified random sampling method. For that 160 adolescent students were selected randomly from different schools/colleges of Ranchi town. Spiritual Intelligence Scale developed by K.S. Mishra and Oxford Happiness Questionnaire introduced by psychologists Michael Argyle and Peter Hills in 1990 at Oxford University and personal data questionnaire was used for data collection. Data were treated by Percentage, Mean, SD, t-test and ANOVA. Result- The study's findings showed that among the total and sample sub-groups based on gender and religion, most adolescence belong to low spiritual intelligence, while only a small number of adolescence have high spiritual intelligence. Additionally, most adolescence belong to rather and somewhat happy levels of happiness, while only a small number of adolescence have too happy and not happy levels of happiness. As a result, the spiritual intelligence and happiness of adolescence were not significantly impacted by either male or female students who identified as Muslim or Hindu. It was determined that there was no relationship between gender and religion. ConclusionThe level of spiritual intelligence and happiness varied across the entire sample.
