The state policy for ensuring economic security of agricultural sector development

The subject of the study is a set of methods of state regulation of instruments to ensure economic security of the agricultural sector. The purpose of the study is to analyze the methods of regulating public policy in the agricultural sector. Research methods. The monographic method, analysis, method of comparison and generalization of data are used in the work. Results of work. The article describes the interaction with banks for the formation of favorable conditions for financial and credit support of agricultural producers in accordance with the Memorandum of the Ministry of Economy on the implementation of state support for agricultural producers. Field of application. State regulation of the economy, agricultural sector. Conclusions. The results of the study suggest that the policy of support for agriculture in Ukraine should be focused on maintaining competitive agricultural skills in a liberalized environment. This requires a sharp reduction in customs protection of Ukraine’s agriculture, as well as the simultaneous use of permitted instruments based on international standards. During the accession period, it is necessary to insist on creating conditions for the use of EU support funds, which in fact combine various previous programs of the European Union (SAPARD, PHARE, ISPA)
