ЕВОЛЮЦІЯ ПОГЛЯДІВ НАУКОВОЇ СПІЛЬНОТИ НА ПОНЯТТЯ «ГЛОБАЛІЗАЦІЯ»

Globalization is the interdependence of people and businesses across the world that ultimately leads to global cultural, political and economic integration. This term is used as a way to describe the distribution of products, communication and technologies across the globe. It is also the ability to move and exchange information easily all over the world. This process involves the changes of ideas, practices and the means of communication. Globalization has become a relevant topic to explore a number of reasons, including the overall need for businesses to compete and for people to understand each other. The article’s goal is to examine the changes in scientists’ views on the concept of globalization in chronological order. The task of this research is to analyze the fundamental works which illuminate the processes of globalization. The paper explores the lack of a unified approach to the interpretation of this phenomenon. The main focus of this work is on the pervasive impact of globalization, which has effects on different aspects of social life. The discussion of issues related to globalization cannot take place without analyzing changes in language, many of which are related to and depend on cultural globalization. The perspective of the research is to examine the way in which cultural globalization has influences on the Ukrainian language
