Digital Arts Festivals as essential platform to host hybrid and digital forms of today's art, and for dialogue between cross-disciplinary artists.

Starting from the 90s, many digital arts and new media art festivals were born, with a good charge of electronic music in the program, often accompanied by the expressions "music, creativity and technology", "digital arts festival" or "digital creativity and electronic music". Digital Arts Festivals (DAF) are the main platform for current forms of artistic hybridization: electronic music and experimental audio, digital arts and new media art, "the audiovisual turn" and technology and research applied to creativity. It is essential to shed light on the role and importance of these festivals in our societies because (1) they offer unique situations in content reception and audience organization and because (2) they stimulate and expand today's hybrid forms of art. And to fully understand DAFs, we need to analyze the creative processes and art forms of the artists who participate in them. We will examine the main factors that mark hybridization and interdisciplinarity as a predominant form in post-internet art and, in particular, study the work and case of the Chilean-New York artist
