Principals' Leadership Impact on School Climate in Private High Schools in Istanbul

Leadership is a broad and comprehensive concept that is associated with a variety of styles and theories, including Transactional and Transformational Leadership (Vecchio et al., 2008), Learning-Centred Leadership (Southworth, 2009), and Emotional Intelligence (Goldring et al., 2015), and others. In theory, there is still an opportunity for more comparisons and links between different types of leadership (Ricard et al., 2017). This research aimed to investigate the extent and nature of the link between principal leadership and School Climate. This research focused on determining the level of leadership, and school climate of a private high school in istanbul turkey , in addition assessing the relationship between leadership and school climate, hence developing the differences in the level of leadership and school climate based on demography and determining the dimensions that contributes to the Principals’ Leadership. The results of this study appear to meet the targeted objective by investigating the level of Leadership and Level of School Climate, bringing the actual relationship between both variables, and finding out if there Is any significant and difference
