Розвиток малого підприємництва та малого бізнесу в Україні: чинники впливу та актуальні тенденції

The article presents the results of a retrospective analysis of the development of small business in Ukraine and identifies the current state of domestic small business, which the authors interpret as sufficiently stable and exhibiting positive dynamics. The reasoning regarding this conclusion is made on the basis of the analysis of changes in the indicators «Quantity of economic entities in Ukraine (including small business entities)», «Volumes of products sold by domestic economic entities (including small business entities)», «The share of the number of employees of small entities in the total number of employees». It was characterized exogenous and endogenous factors, which that in the last decade has largely influenced the development of small business in Ukraine. The most significant exogenous factors of influence include: imperfection of the tax system, general state of the economy of the state and the current legislation, lack of an effective mechanism of state support of small business, monopolization of the market by the subjects of big business, high level of corruption and bureaucracy. The most significant endogenous factors of influence: low level of logistical support, ineffective management decisions, combination of two or more activities within one small enterprise. It was identified the newest factors of influence on the development of small business in Ukraine, which include the dissemination of ideas of eco-ideology and popularization of digital transformation processes. The concept of eco-ideology as a strategic trend in the modern sense lies in the concern environmental problems of the so-called Generation Z, which is a direct consumer of small business products. This impetus is the driving force for creating a new trend in small business development. Digitization and digital transformation are continually entering into all spheres of life and business, thus changing the conditions of entry for businesses both large and small. Attempts have been made to predict how the impact of these factors will change the reality of domestic small business in the near future
