DIGITIZAREA RESURSELOR DEȚINUTE – PRIORITATE A BIBLIOTECII NAȚIONALE A REPUBLICII MOLDOVA

The article highlights the main digitization projects that value the national cultural heritage, led by the National Library of the Republic of Moldova. The article mentions the impact of NLRM in creation, development and valorization of digital content in the Republic of Moldova thanks to the project of Moldovan National Digital Library, which is the result of cooperation and integration ac-tions carried out by the NLRM in the country and in Europe. The study also presents the project (obtained in the form of a non-reimbursable grant) offered by the Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency. The grant offered to one of the cultural projects supported by Japan aims to improve endowment of the National Library of the Republic of Moldova with digitization equipment, which will contribute to preservation of resources in virtual format, ensuring virtual access and long-term custody of cultural value
