Primeras citas para Cataluña del invasor lessepsiano Cerithium scabridum Philippi, 1848 (Mollusca: Cerithiidae)

The Lessepsian gastropod Cerithium scabridum was recently reported in two areas of the Iberian Peninsula: Benicarló (Valencian Autonomous Community) and Mar Menor coastal lagoon. The presence of consolidated, reproductive populations suggested it could be present in nearby places. Here we report for the first time its presence in Catalonia, where it was found in two fishing harbours in the south. This is indicative of a rapid expansion of this species in the Iberian Mediterranean coasts
