Experience in Moving Toward An Open Repository For All

We report on our experience in building a domain-specific research data repository and in moving it toward an open repository for all to deposit datasets.The abstract is a lightly edited proposal that was originally submitted to and accepted by Open Repository 2020 (but was not presented because of COVID-19). The abstract was submitted to and again accepted by Open Repository 2021. The set of slides was prepared in early June 2021 and presented online at Open Repository 2021 on June 10. The title slide was modified on August 12, 2021 to include the link https://data.depositar.io/en/dataset/or2021 where this set of presentation materials is deposited.
