I found myself dreaming in front of a license clause. A clause from the incredible transformative agreement signed between ACM and the University of California (UC). I dreamed transformative agreements could be a way not only to accelerate the transition to Open Access, but also to allow public players to gain control over profits made by commercial publishers and what their money is really used for. I dreamed these agreements could initiate a transition to partnership and transparency
