This study investigates the influence of quality of neighbourhood, attitude towards police and demographic variables on fear of crime in peri-urban communities in Egbeda LGA of Oyo state. The study was an ex-post facto design. Three hundred and sixteen (316) participants were selected for the study through multi -stage sampling technique from Olorunsogo toll gate, Ajia, Bolorunduro, Ifedapo and Ajule municipalities located in Egbeda LGA. Descriptive statistics, t-test for independent analysis and multiple regression analysis significance were used to analyse the data at 0.05 level significance.
