Increased noise pollution in the European region is considered to be an issue of considerable importance by World Health Organisation. Increase in human population led to increased urbanization which in its turn led to increase in levels of noise pollution. Noise pollution is currently a permanent component of human life in cities. More than 1 million of EU citizens are influenced by noise pollution created by transport.
