Objective: The aim of the analysis is to evaluate the possible risk factors of diabetes and cardiac diseases among children in Pakistan. The research also includes the association of such children with corpulence and previous history in close relatives for the diseases under discussion.Design: The questionnaire method was used for the collection of demographic and other required data (family history and eating habits etc). The children were studying in four different schools and were between 8 – 10 years of age.
