With the latest revolution of science and technology, and in particular information and communication technologies (ICTs), the need for computerization has been identified in most countries and Jordan is no exception. One of the major dimensions for this revolution is the development of the E-Government. The purpose of this paper is to explore the realities of the e-government as well as to examine the environmental factors for its implementation in Jordan.
