A Growth System Based on Zigbee and IoT for Agriculture

Since agriculture is the foundation of the Indian economy, creative solutions are needed. Crop productivity is impacted by irrigation, a crucial agricultural practise. Typically, farmers inspect their fields on a regular basis. When a farmer is in charge of a lot of agricultural areas, this irrigation method requires a lot of time and work. Due to their difficult conditions, farmers are unable to supervise their farmlands. Such situations can be handled using a smartphone. An Android app is loaded on the farmer's smartphone to keep track of all farming tasks. The three types of irrigation used by the existing system are drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, and channel irrigation. The goal of this research is to automate tasks including crop recommendation, irrigation, and agricultural production. The farmland is fitted with an assortment of sensors to gather data concerning the land, and the producer is informed via a ZigBee connection. The pH level of the soil is decided, and the suggested crops for the farmer are then determined by the pH value. The irrigation process is subsequently automated, and after the soil moisture is identified, the required amount of water is delivered onto the field. Finally, crop image processing is used to keep track of a crop's viability, growth rate, and harvest window. Every production is delivered to the farmer via an Android app
