Abstract: The world entered a new phase of international relations in 1945 as the World War II ended. This new phase brought with it the increasingly prominent feature of political, economic and even socio-cultural collaborations and globalization, which took the form of regional integration in many cases. This scenario became imperative due to the realization of the fact that regional economic integration and cooperation is a major framework for the development of the various regions of the world.
