The paper presents the materials of the analysis of 89 patients with unstable diaphyseal fractures of the bones of the forearm. A method of closed transosseous osteosynthesis with a wire-rod external fixation device for unstable diaphyseal bone fractures was proposed and applied in 47 patients, developed by the staff of the department with long-term results of the treatment
