Review of the Dnipro regional broadcasting model

The article focuses on the features of regional TV. It describes the most popular TV channels in Dnipropetrovsk region. The purpose of this article is to get to know how regional TV in Ukraine works. The method used in this research is qualitative research approach. The techniques used to collect data are: comparison, interview and analysis. In the article economic and social aspects of regional broadcasting companies are considered. In the research based on the materials of programmes of “34 channel”, “9 channel”, “11 channel”, “Nobel TV” and public joint stock company “Public Broadcasting company of Ukraine” - “Regional directorate UA: Dnipro" the values of regional television are considered. Having analyzed the results, we can state about the significance of regional channels in the domestic telecommunications system. It develops actively. However, there are some difficulties that regional TV has to solve. The aim of this work, therefore, is to help the students of the journalism faculty and working regional journalists as well
