Summary. Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common malignancy in men. This paper reviews the results of previous work of the study group PROSTATSERBIA. In the candidate gene association study at the beginning of our research, we tested the association between several single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the NOS3 gene and PCa risk and/or progression.
