Material to support Dance Written, a chapter in the 2021 Brill publication titled: Deconstructing the Shiva Nataraja. New Research in Multidisciplinary Perspective. Dance Written is an account of how Śiva’s dancing figure is described in Pratiṣṭhā manuals, written for a chapter in the 2021 Brill publication titled: "Deconstructing the Shiva Nataraja. New Research in Multidisciplinary Perspective". In that chapter, there was space only for English translations of the material under discussion. Here are supplied the Sanskrit passages from which those English translations were drawn. Plus an edition and translation of the account of the dancing Śiva given in the Piṅgalāmata, another early northern text
