Objective: To define the patterns of antibiotic drug sensitivity and resistance among Salmonella typhi isolates of enteric fever in pediatric population at a tertiary care hospital. Material and methods: 161 children with enteric fever were included in this study. This cross – sectional study was done at Department of Pediatric Medicine, Bahawal-Victoria Hospital, from June 2016 to December 2017. Venous blood sample (5 ml) was drawn and it was immediately transferred to Pathology Department, Bahawal-Victoria Hospital for blood culture and sensitivity test.
