E-mobility is one of the key elements for decarbon- ising the transport sector, but the ambitious Europe- an targets require a profound change in the wider transport and energy system. Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (SUMP) is a key participatory planning framework – integrating and focussing different mobility-related planning activities towards a common vision. As cities develop or revise their SUMPs, it is important to include emerging servic- es and technologies such as charging and energy infrastructure in public space, new city logistics modules and electrification of public transport, taxis and car sharing cars.
