Introduction: Diabetes prevalence in older people increases with advancing age. The global prevalence of diabetes in people between the ages of 60 and 79 is 18.6%, which is more than 134.6 million people, and accounts for 35% of all cases of diabetes in adults. Aims and objectives: The basic aim of the study is to analyze the effectiveness of insulin glargine in the treatment of elderly patients with diabetes. Material and methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in THQ Hospital, Kot Momin Sargodha during October 2018 to March 2019. The data was collected from 100 type 2 diabetic patients.
