The state and trends of public regulation of telecommunication technologies, which determine the level of technical progress of any country, including Ukraine, create the preconditions for economic growth and integration into the world processeshave been analysed in the article. The global nature of these processes makes it extremely important to combine the efforts of different countries in the development of telecommunications, its investment support, and also requires the participation of Ukrainian companies and research centres in scientific and technological cooperation.
