This paper focuses on improving the signal-to-noise plus interference ratio on multi-input multi-output radars. Here, an algorithm is proposed, whereby the waveform of the transmitter and the receiver filter coefficients are designed simultaneously to better detect the targets in the presence of the dependent interference signal. The proposed algorithm is a convex optimization-based sequential algorithm, in which each iteration optimizes the covariance matrix of the transmitted signals to concentrate the antenna radiation pattern on the target and also attempts to eliminate the maximum number of interferencein the receiver.
