Two python scripts are provided for the animation of a Helmholtz-coil, a circular current loop, linear and toroidal coils composed from circular current loops. The third script does a fit of the corresponding model to measurements of the magnetic field of a Helmholtz pair of coils obtained within a lecture on electromagnetism
