The article analyses the theoretical and applied problems of identification of missile and rocket weapons of the aggressor country. It is determined that expert proceedings on war crimes involving missile and rocket weapons should be carried out by conducting at least two subtypes of forensic examinations - weapons examination and explosive examination. In order to increase the objectivity and reliability of identification of missile and rocket weapons elements, it is proposed to establish a collection of various material elements of this type of weapon with the existing level of damage and destruction, as well as an information base of their images.
