Introduction: Patients require quality health care, otherwise in Intensive Care Units (ICU). A key component to this service successfully is effective communication between multidisciplinary team. Τhe aim of the present study was to review the adoption of standard protocol - a tool for ensuring the quality of care given the difficulties that developed in the communication between the multidisciplinary team and in particular between the hospital and the medical sector.
