X. arboricola pv. pruni is a bacterium that mainly infects japanese plum (Prunus salicina), common peach (Prunus persica) and common apricot (Prunus armeniaca). These plants are rarely grown in the PRA area, but the crops of the other hosts - wild cherry (Prunus avium), cherry (Prunus cerasus) and house plum (Prunus domestica) in Poland are relatively large. In addition, some host plants (e.g., cherries) may occur in the wild, making the probability of establishment in the PRA medium. In contrast, the probability of spreading X. arboricola pv. pruni in the PRA area is low, because in the absence of vectors carrying the bacteria over longer distances, natural transmission of the bacteria is only possible in a small area, and control of nurse...
