Our article discusses various forms of studying the Russian language and literature in Turkey, including traditional school and university education, and Russian language courses. We highlight the goals and characteristics of studying the Russian language in Turkish society, paying particular attention to motivation and professional goals, state and public resources. We call the main problems of studying Russian language Turkish students and approaches to teaching Russian as a foreign language
