Muslim Naval Forces have kept a remarkable position among world navies for several years. It started in the era of Hazrat Usman R.A, the third caliph of Islam. He allowed Hazrat Muaviya R.A to establish a Naval Force to maintain the Islamic dignity in oceans, too. Muslim Navy was also considered important because Constantinople (present Istanbul, Turkey) was then the main city of Byzantine Empire and its conqueror was promised to be awarded Jannah in Ahaadith.
