YOUTH SLANG IN THE CHINESE INTERNET SPACE

The article is devoted to the study of vocabulary in the Chinese Internet space. The article provides definitions of the concept of "slang" by domestic and foreign linguists, highlights the main ways of forming a new layer of vocabulary, which makes it possible to further trace and analyze certain patterns in the formation of youth slang in the Internet space, to assess the degree of influence of various factors on its formation. The study of youth vocabulary in particular allows us to trace the word-formation changes taking place in the Chinese language as a whole
