Ecology of Knowledges and Analectic Past: Intercultural Translation and Liberation from Global South

This article proposes the articulation of the categories “ecology of knowledges” and “intercultural translation” from the analytical method by Dussel, materializing the emergence and visibility of subaltern reality/nature ("analectical similarity") of the Global South into the dominant world of abyssal thinking and indolent reason ("modern distinction"). This visibility is observed through the logic of presence, of critical exteriority, of destabilizing images (such as that of suffering linked to the global South). It is considered the notion of analectical past as category that embodies the vital energy both the community forces and the ‘defeated’ experiences of history. It is the emergence of the trans-ontological and inter-epistemic framework coexisting in the present, as "lived reality" (material aisthesis) or continuity of community life (community/nature), and from here potential messianic liberation energy
