Electrochemical behaviour of 3-[4'-(thiazolyl); 3-[4'-(acetyl)sulphonamoylphenyl] azomethineindoles

Cyclic voltammograms exhibited a well defined irreversible 2e-/2H+ cathodic peak below pH 7.9. At and above pH 7.9 one additional 2e-/2H+ reduction peak was observed which was assigned to the reduction of C-N bond. Products of cpe was characterised by elemental and spectral analysis
