Binodini Devi Memorial Lecture Urvash Butalia: Dismantling the Master's House 6 February 2014, Imphal, Manipur URVASHI BUTALIA is co founder of Kali for Women, India's first feminist publishing house and currently is Director of Zubaan, an imprint of Kali. She has long been involved in the women's movement and writes and publishes widely in books and journals at home and abroad. She has edited several collections of short stories. Among her best known books is The Other Side of Silence: Voices from the Partition of India (winner of two awards and translated into several languages).
