THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGICAL AND POLITICAL-IDEOLOGICAL PRECRIPTIONS FOR THE STUDY OF THE PROSPECTS OF MODERNIZATION OF SINICIZED MARXISM

The article presents an analysis of the main trends in the modernization of the Leninist-Stalinist interpretation of the essence and functions of dialectical and historical materialism in the Marxist-Leninist metanarrative of the second half of the twentieth century in the USSR. Its methodology and results can be of ideological, theoretical, and heuristic significance for understanding the possibilities and prospects of projects and processes of updating general and socio-philosophical Marxist teaching in modern China (sinicized Marxism). The tendencies of the development of Marxism-Leninism (Soviet philosophy) in the Soviet Union in the second half of the twentieth century are revealed and characterized, based on scientific and ideologically unbiased research principles; a scientific reconstruction of Lenin's, Stalin's, and post-Stalinist (mid-1950s-late 1980s) understanding of the concepts of dialectical and historical materialism, as well as interpretations of their structural and functional status in the system of Marxist-Leninist philosophical and socio-political knowledge and research are made; the relationships between the axiomatics of Marxist-Leninist philosophy and the political-ideological doctrine of the Communist Party, which transformed Soviet Marxism into a metanarrative, provided the theoretical foundation for the CPSU's ideology, and offered an explanation for its domestic and foreign policy, are defined and theoretically described. The popular post-Soviet narratives of the origins of Marxist philosophy in the USSR are systematized, and their theoretical, methodological, and ideological attributive features are assessed on the basis of theoretical and methodological guidelines and requirements of scientific analysis and theoretical reconstruction.
