Paulo Freire: el método de la concientización en la educación, para analizar y comprender el contexto actual de la globalización

Education as a cultural and political reponse, in different contexts, responds to the needs of transmiting knowledge, worldviews, a value system and attitudes of perception and action facing the different social realities in which it develops. In the context of the courrent globalization, education is one of the real possibilities to obtain a critical conscience about social reality. This awareness can allow us to analyze, understand and develop alternatives to courrent problems. Globalization imposes vital challenges to us such as the preservation of the climate, the preservation of the biodiversity and the respect for cultural and religious diversity. If we do not evade the ethical and ecological challenge, we will be able to reach a more just and caring society. Ideas determines our attitudes toward society, nature and the world, where we live. In this perspective, the vision proposed by Paulo Freire is a valid proposition, to try to repond to the great challenges of contemporary society, burdened by the pandemic
